I took a weekend break, I was sick as a dog and just wanted to SLEEP. But I'm back!!
Today was a slow return so I worked on updating the UI for one of my websites (linked here). This one looks especially homemade (time of writing), so I wanted to fix it, ASAP. I'm using some of what I've learned about UX/UI design and I think it improved it sooo much. The wireframe is the cover picture and I think it's way better than what I have now. I used a website called "Balsamiq" and it makes wireframes so easy. Ofc there is paper and a pen but that's for like quick sketches, this is one notch higher. After I get the main page concepts wireframed, I'll make it in Figma, then actually. I can't wait to actually implement it! I think I also want to make a video of my process of making a website like the thought process, deciding what I want the website to do, designing, coding, finishing touches, and uploading. I think it'd be a fun little project. Buuuut, I hate editing videos so it's probably gonna take longer than it should.
I also worked on changing my "Home Cafe" website from HTML & CSS to HTML, CSS, & PHP. So that I can start implementing a MySQL database. I also messed up something in the CSS, the website was pretty mobile-friendly before other than the navigation bar but I did something and now the images won't line up under each other once the screen hits a certain width. Now they just stay like they were originally set up but get smaller. Which looks so terrible. I tried reverting changes but it's not working I probably fixed it and messed it up all in one commit. This is a lesson learned, I need to commit more often on GitHub.
Tomorrow I'm going to work on Unity and Gamemaker. I'll create some more sprites for the Chemistry game and figure out why it still looks wonky? I thought I knew why it was doing that. Apparently, I didn't ๐คทโโ๏ธ. I also need to add comments to my code (I need to work on commenting as I go...), figure out how to publish it on GitHub actually (right now it's there but it's not, y'know?), add finishing touches like a game over/level win, and test out adding more levels. I'm pretty sure I know how to do it bc I know there's a reason for scenes, but I've never attempted to so we'll see. Then I'm also going to go over some Gamemaker code and work on some tutorials for that as well so that I can transfer the knowledge from Unity to Gamemaker. But that's it for today! Bye!!

P.S. I think I want to learn how to make mobile apps on Android, I know how to do basic things but I want to know enough to make a functional app. Plus my UI skills are preeetty bad. That's why I liked Xcode more, bc the interface was so easy to make cute. But I don't want to buy a Mac right now bc Apple kind of annoys me, so Android it shall be. And I saw this NFC record player that makes me reeeally want to get into Raspberry Pi and get a 3d printer so I can make a version ๐คญ. I probably shouldn't be learning all this new stuff right now and focus on the mains but....
